Review – Station Cases “Stagnant”

With tough beat down esque songs and ska flair and ska roots and featuring the founder of Station Cases has to be the best thing to come out of the Tampa Area in years. This Ep is so old school and so hardcore and features some of the best drumming Ive heard in a good while. also some of the best transitions to pseudo ska upstoke guitar Ive heard since lost all hope in the genre. The guitar tone reminds me of Cromags or most other 90’s hardcore bands, rough around the edges but gets the point across.

The gem of the ep is “Disconnection” which bascally a cleverly put together call to arms to circle pit , floor punch repeat. The Title track and closer is brilliant and remenacent of later Suicide Machines.
